Joe Zagame, Jr. “Junior” grew up in real estate. As a child, he accompanied his father to jobsites around Central Florida, and assisted his mother at the office in Winter Park. His first paid job was in property maintenance at an industrial park in east Orlando.
Through the years he gained direct experience in every facet of the business, including property management, accounting and finance, human resources, sitework and development, building construction, and investment and portfolio management.
Junior spent nearly a decade in college, earning a BA from Furman University in 1991, an MCP from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1994, and an MA from St. John’s College in 1996.
After college, Junior worked in a variety of professions, including marketing research, economic development, venture capital, and advertising and public relations. In 2004, Junior returned home to become the Managing Member of Presco Real Estate Group, and to the biggest challenge of his professional career: leading a company heavily invested in real estate through the boom and bust that was the Great Recession. During these years, Junior became expert in the art of restructuring debt and the nuances of real-estate law.
Today, Junior offers turnkey real-estate development and management services to third-party clients from around the world. He is a member of First Baptist Church of Winter Garden, and lives in Clermont with his wife and three sons.
